Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is succeeding in implementing public welfare schemes on the basis of the hard work and faith of the contract workers. The role of contract workers is similar to that of Hanuman ji. It is your labor and partnership that has maintained the system of governance. Contract workers definitely come on contract, but they play a huge role in the management of the systems. Be it health services, education, Panchayat, urban bodies or technical services, contract brothers and sisters are standing as reliable pillars of the system everywhere in survey, monitoring and implementation at the field level. The dedication with which the contract workers have worked has proved that service is greater than position. Contract workers are not only the work force of the state government but also our self-confidence. Our friends are implementing the statement of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh that ‘We will work in the interest of the country’. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ‘Contract Employees-Officers Conference’ of Madhya Pradesh Samvida Sanyukta Sangharsh Manch organized by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh at TT Nagar Dussehra Ground on Friday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait of Bharat Mata and revered Dattopant Thengadi ji. On arrival at the venue of the programme, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by showering flowers and garlanding him.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that our government always stands with a positive spirit for the rights of contract workers. Positive decisions have already been taken by the state government on service improvement, remuneration improvement, working conditions and future improvements of contractual workers, they will be taken full care of in future also. Our government will resolve all the issues keeping in mind the safety of the contract workers. Will try to exceed whatever decisions may be made for contract employees. The difficulties of the contract workers will be resolved while remaining within the ambit of rules, justice and financial balance. By coordinating with Madhya Pradesh Samvida Sanyukt Sangharsh Manch, Finance and General Administration Department, all the difficulties will be resolved in such a way that both respect and safety of the contract workers is ensured. The state government will support the contract workers with sensitivity, responsibility and commitment on their reasonable demands.

The process of merging contractual workers with more than 10 years of experience into regular posts is still going on for 50 percent of the posts, further work will be done in this direction.
Under the General Administration Department Contract Policy-2023, all the clauses will be implemented in letter and spirit in centrally and state funded projects. State government corporations will implement this.
Under Contract Policy-2023, a policy decision will be taken regarding simultaneous implementation of all centrally funded and state funded schemes and projects for NPS, gratuity, health insurance benefits, compassionate appointment for contract employees in all departments and full implementation of the provisions of CCA Rule 1965, 1966 for contract employees.
The representations for determining the discrepancy in equivalence of contractual employees posted in various departments, schemes and projects will be resolved within the time limit by a committee formed under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary, including representatives of the contracts.
Equivalency will be determined under the Contract Policy-2023 in the Agriculture Department’s Atma Yojana, District E-Governance Society, District Disabled Rehabilitation Centers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed in the conference by Kuldeep Singh Gurjar, Dinesh Singh Tomar, Govind Srivastava, Durgesh Tiwari and representatives of Sanyukt Sangharsh Manch. Dinesh Tomar said that officers and employees of 34 departments of the state are included in Madhya Pradesh Samvida Sanyukt Sangharsh Manch. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state government is continuously working in the interest of the employees. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh has understood the demands of the contractual employees of the state. State General Secretary Kuldeep Singh Gurjar also addressed. A large number of contract officers and employees from all over the state were present in the conference.
