Anandpur. In West Bengal, political turmoil intensified over the arson incident in Anandpur on the outskirts of Kolkata. While Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari protested regarding this, Governor CV Bose issued a statement. Let us inform that the police has arrested 2 more people in connection with the fire that broke out in Momo Manufacturing Unit and 2 warehouses on Friday. This includes the name of company manager Manoranjan Sheet and deputy manager Raja Chakraborty.

BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari protested in Anandpur today (Friday). He said, ‘BJP is raising the voice of the people. Till now, the people who died or are missing in this incident are Hindus, they are not the vote bank of Mamata Banerjee.

Officials said that so far 21 human body parts, including partially burnt and skeletal remains, have been recovered from the incident site in Anandpur. Which may belong to one or different persons. We are not able to confirm the exact number of dead yet. This will be confirmed only after DNA test.

According to the police, both the accused have been caught by Narendrapur police. Both of them will be presented in Baruipur court today (Saturday). Earlier on Tuesday, the owner of the premises and the decorator firm, Gangadhar Das, was arrested. He was produced in Baruipur court on Wednesday, from where he was sent to police custody. He will be produced in court again on February 4.
