Veterinarians play an important role in doubling the income of farmers.

Jaipur. Government Animal Husbandry Training Institute, Udaipur, organized a one-day training workshop on Forensic Aspects of Vetero-Legal Cases with the aim of strengthening the legal and technical skills of the veterinarians working in Udaipur division. Dr. Omprakash Sahu of the institute said that the workshop was organized under the LHDCP and ASCAD scheme of the Government of India.
In the inaugural session of the workshop, the chief guest was Dr. Paramjit Singh, Divisional Additional Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Udaipur and chaired by Dr. Surendra Chhangani, Joint Director, Government Animal Husbandry Training Institute, Udaipur. Special guest was Dr. Lakshminarayan Meena, Additional Director, Regional Animal Husbandry Department, Dr. Paramjeet Singh Additional Director, Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Udaipur. Dr. Paramjeet Singh said that the workshop will provide skills to veterinarians in solving vetero legal cases. True justice can be expected only when knowledge and science are integrated. Veterinarians have an important role in doubling the income of farmers by the government and today’s workshop will prove to be a milestone in this work. On this occasion, a booklet on inclusion of forensic aspects in veterinary medicine published by the institute was released.
