5 things should be implemented in life: Bhagwat
The RSS chief said, “We should not just listen to what is said in spiritual meetings or discussions. We should put them into practice in our lives. We need to do 5 things.” He called upon all people to maintain social harmony, family values, adopt indigenous products and become disciplined citizens as well as fulfill environmental responsibilities. Bhagwat said that the first step towards social harmony is to remove the feelings of discrimination, alienation and discrimination.
He said, “You should have friends among all Hindus in the area where you live and roam. We consider Hindus as one, but the world sees differences among these Hindus on the basis of caste, language, region and sect. Among those whom the world differentiates, you should have friends among them all. Let us all start this process from today itself. People should not be judged on the basis of caste, wealth, language or region. Consider everyone as your own. All are yours and all Indians are my own, The whole of India is my own.
Temples and crematoriums should be open to all: Bhagwat
During his address, the Sangh chief emphasized that temples, water bodies and cremation grounds, no matter who built them, should be open to Hindus. He described social work as an effort of unity, not of mutual conflict. Bhagwat said, “Those who consider everyone as their own and whose ideas have influence in your areas should decide that water sources in their areas such as ponds, wells, places of worship such as temples and monasteries, and even cremation grounds should be open to all Hindus, no matter who built them. There should be no fighting or violence among themselves for all this.”
Referring to loneliness and family communication, he said that when people feel lonely they often fall into bad habits or company. Regular conversation and communication within families can help prevent this. He said, “If the country is in danger, the family is also in danger.”
Now RSS has spread everywhere: Bhagwat
Expressing concern over global warming and deteriorating environment, Bhagwat requested everyone to start conservation efforts from their homes by saving water, harvesting rain water, reducing the use of single-use plastic and planting more trees. He says that we should adopt the system of collecting rain water and try to revive our small water sources.
Regarding Hindu religion, Bhagwat said that the well-being of the whole world depends on the well-being of India, hence it is the path for the well-being of the world. This world religion is the practical application of the human religion, called Hinduism. He said that the work of RSS, which started from a small shakha in Nagpur, has now spread everywhere.
