The war of words between CM Yogi Adityanath and Akhilesh Yadav over the codeine cough syrup issue in Uttar Pradesh has intensified. SP President Akhilesh Yadav, in a press conference in Lucknow on Saturday (December 20), targeted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and alleged that the government is hiding a lot in this matter. As far as his photograph is concerned, his photograph is also with the Chief Minister.
On Friday, CM Yogi revealed SP’s connection in the cough syrup case and while reciting poetry, he taunted Akhilesh Yadav and said that ‘Dust kept cleaning the mirror on his face..’ On this statement, Akhilesh Yadav also replied in the same manner and said – ‘You did not wipe your face, you broke the mirror without any reason..’

SP President said that the government is hiding many things regarding codeine. Many pictures are being shown. If we take the pictures to be true and if the person standing with me is a mafia, then my picture is also with the Chief Minister and both the Deputy CMs. My picture is also with the other half.
Akhilesh Yadav again took a jibe at Yogi while writing poetry and said – “This was his only fault – to show off, he kept feeding other people’s children in his lap… but in the greed of money he kept putting the lives of other children at stake. This was his only fault, he kept protecting his own at all costs, kept hiding their sins. When his secrets started getting exposed, he kept blaming others.”

He said that you can imagine that such a big racket is going on in the Prime Minister’s area. The big question is that this was going on from the PM’s parliamentary constituency. This is not a matter of Rs 100-200 crore but an international matter. When they themselves start getting trapped, they show them pictures and tell them that they are from SP.
Akhilesh Yadav said that if the accused are associated with SP, then I am demanding on behalf of Samajwadi Party that whoever is associated with SP, be it Kalin Bhaiya, Codeen Bhaiya, bulldozer should be used on all of them. Bulldozers should be used on all those who have gambled away thousands of crores.
