It is being told that several quintals of fish were taken out from the river, in which the small fish were dead and the big fish were in an unconscious state. Some people took this as an opportunity and set up temporary shops on the spot and started selling the fish, but there is also a question in the hearts of the people as to how so many fish died suddenly.
result of water contamination
The people present on the spot expressed apprehension that some mischievous element or some source had mixed a large amount of pesticide or some poisonous chemical in the river water, due to which the fishes had died. People say that lack of oxygen in the flowing water of Ramganga is not acceptable scientifically. Therefore this is clearly the result of water contamination.
