Patna. Once again the weather is changing in Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding dense fog in many parts of the state today on January 19 and tomorrow on January 20. During this period, visibility may be extremely low, due to which road, rail and air traffic is likely to be affected. People will need to be extra cautious due to fog, especially in the morning. According to weather experts, the possibility of dense fog is more in the districts of North and North-West Bihar. In the areas of Seemanchal, Kosi, Mithila and North Central Bihar, visibility may be reduced to 50 to 100 meters in the morning. In such a situation, drivers have been advised to drive slowly, use fog lights and avoid unnecessary travel. However, it is a matter of relief that the temperature in the state may increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next four days. This will provide some relief to the people from the severe cold and cough that has been going on for the last few days. Due to gradual increase in day temperature, the warmth of the sun will be felt, due to which life will start becoming normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance is now weakening, due to which the sky is likely to remain clear. Due to sunshine during the day, the maximum temperature can remain between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature can remain around 9 to 12 degrees Celsius. However, night and morning hours will remain cold and foggy conditions may remain severe.
