Raipur : Various wards of Ravi Shankar Nagar Zone of Municipal Corporation Korba received the gift of new development works worth Rs 03 crore 20 lakh on Monday. During the Bhoomi Pujan programs organized at different places under the chief hospitality of State Commerce, Industry, Labour, Excise and Public Enterprises Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan and under the chairmanship of Mayor Sanjudevi Rajput, Bhoomi Pujan of all these development works was done with their Karakamals. While performing the bhoomi pujan of the development works, Industries Minister Dewangan and Mayor Rajput instructed the officials to start the work soon and complete these works within the time limit by working with full quality.

Ward No. by Municipal Corporation Korba. 34 Culvert and drain are to be constructed from Dadar Road Culvert to Manikpur Muktidham at a cost of Rs 1 crore 84 lakh. Similarly, under Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla, kitchen sheds are to be constructed in 06 government schools at a cost of Rs 36 lakh and boys and girls toilets are also to be constructed in 12 government schools at a cost of Rs 60 lakh. Similarly, ward no. 33 Road construction work at a cost of Rs 25 lakh in Manikpur Diparapara and Ward no. Under 26, the construction work of the internal streets of Krishnanagar from Vinay Singh Ghar to in front of Jaitkhabha and from Dadar Main Road to the culvert near Kumhar Ghar is to be done at a cost of Rs 15 lakh. Industries Minister Dewangan and Mayor Rajput performed the Bhoomi Pujan of all these development works in separately organized Bhoomi Pujan programs today and presented the gift of the said important development works to the general public.

Historic improvement in the condition of schools with overall development

On this occasion, Industries Minister Dewangan said in his address that along with the all-round development of the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the condition of schools, temples of education, is being improved historically. Due to lack of toilets in schools or dilapidated toilets, students and teachers used to face a lot of inconvenience, but during the last two years, extensive work has been done in this direction. Works like providing well equipped and clean toilet facilities, construction of cycle stand, kitchen shed, construction of additional rooms, renovation of dilapidated schools, construction of new buildings, construction of boundary wall etc. are being done on a large scale. He further said that we are fortunate that we are continuously receiving the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the all-round development of the state of Chhattisgarh. As far as the development of Korba is concerned, there is no dearth of funds for development in Korba with the guidance and cooperation of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao. As a result, development works are being carried out on a large scale continuously as per the demands and needs of the people here.

Mayor Rajput said that under the guidance of Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, continuous development work is going on in the corporation area, which will continue in future also. For the development of Korba, full support and blessings are being received from State Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao and Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan.

During the Bhoomipujan programs, Councilor Narendra Devangan, M.I.C. member Dhankumari Garg, Councilor Narayan Kurre, Sunita Chauhan, Pratap Singh Kanwar, Kosabadi Mandal President Rajesh Rathore, Korba Mandal Yogesh Mishra, Vice President Prafulla Tiwari, Sushil Garg, Sarju Ajay, Dinesh Vaishnav, Rajesh Lahare, Shridhar Dwivedi, BMO Sanjay Aggarwal, Rajendra. Rajput, Balgovind Shriwas, Manoj Singh Rajput, Deepak Yadav, Atmaram Gandhav, Sukesh Dalal, Milap Bareth, Goplal Rathia, Saraswati Patel, Hemant Chandra and other distinguished citizens were present.
