Transparent system of paddy procurement centers increases confidence among farmers in the government.

Raipur : The process of selling paddy has become smooth, simple and easy due to the transparent and farmer-friendly system in the paddy procurement centers of the district. Farmers are getting relief due to digital facilities, well-organized systems and prompt services. Ajay Rajwade, a resident of Kuniya Kala village panchayat under Batauli development block, shared his direct experience.

Ajay Rajwade told that his father Shivdhari Rajwade is a small class farmer, who has a total paddy area of ​​95 quintals. He told that farmers had easily deducted tokens of 92.50 quintals of paddy sitting at home through Tuhanr Token App. Due to the digital system, farmers did not face any problem in deducting tokens and the entire process remained simple and transparent.

He said that as soon as they reached Nawanagar Paddy Procurement Centre, the farmers were immediately provided gate pass, moisture test and gunny bags, due to which there was no hindrance of any kind in the sale of paddy. Special care is being taken for the convenience of farmers at the procurement centre. Arrangements for drinking water and shade seating are available in the committee centre, while the committee staff is providing support to the farmers at every level.

Ajay Rajwade said that under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the highest price of paddy of Rs 3100 per quintal is being given in the state and 21 quintals of paddy is being purchased per acre. Due to this, farmers are getting direct economic benefits and due to which the economic condition is improving. He also told that with the income received from the sale of paddy last year, he cultivated wheat, oilseeds, vegetables and other crops, which earned him good income. He said that the present paddy procurement system is highly commendable and farmers are very satisfied and happy with it.

Rajwada praised the paddy procurement system and expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and said that getting the highest price for paddy is strengthening the rural economy and the standard of living of the farmers is improving.
