Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that even today the words of saints are working to give positive direction to the society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a program organized at Municipal Corporation’s Zone Office No. 1 on the occasion of Sant Ravidas Jayanti during his stay in Indore on Sunday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav garlanded the portrait of Saint Ravidas Maharaj and performed the ritual worship and aarti. On this occasion, he remembered Saint Ravidas ji’s message of social harmony, equality and humanity.
During the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the ‘Swachhata Didis’ associated with the cleanliness campaign with flowers and accepted the greetings by appreciating their contribution. He said that the cleanliness identity of Indore is a source of inspiration for the entire country and the role of sanitation workers is very important in it.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon all the citizens to imbibe the thoughts of Saint Ravidas and participate in building a clean, harmonious and aware society. Water Resources Minister Mr. Tulsiram Silavat, Mayor Mr. Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Mr. Golu Shukla, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sudam Khade, Police Commissioner Mr. Santosh Kumar Singh, Collector Mr. Shivam Verma, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Kshitij Singhal, Mr. Sumit Mishra etc. were also specially present in the program.
