State advisor of Pratappur district Purushottam Panda toured and reviewed cleanliness and development works.

Surajpur: Last day, State Advisor and Surguja Division Incharge Purushottam Panda visited District Panchayat Pratappur. During the tour, he reviewed the works related to development and cleanliness conducted in the district area.

First of all, a meeting was organized in District Panchayat Pratappur with District CEO, SDO RES and PO MNREGA, in which detailed discussion was held regarding the progress, completion of construction works and approval of new works.

After this, the garbage collection work was inspected in Gram Panchayat Shivpur. During the inspection, while discussing with the volunteer Didis, Sarpanch, Secretary and Panchgan, the need for wide publicity was emphasized to make the villagers aware about regular garbage collection and collection of user fees. Also, it was suggested to make separate arrangements for disposal of wet waste in the temple premises. A suitable site was also identified for the proposed community toilet with shop near the temple premises.

Thereafter, after inspecting the garbage collection work in Gram Panchayat Marhatha and discussing with the volunteers, Sarpanch and Secretary, necessary guidelines and suggestions were given.
