Bhopal : Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that Rewa is ahead not only in the field of development but also in the field of art and culture. Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium has become a place for art lovers where national and international renowned artists are showcasing their art just like in the metropolitan cities.
Speaking at the inauguration of Chitrangan International Film and Theater Festival organized by Rang Utsav Natya Samiti, Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the presentation of Nitish Bhardwaj’s famous play Chakravyuh, who played the role of Krishna in the Mahabharata serial, stunned the attentive audience of Rewa and we all were fortunate that we got to see this theatrical performance. He said that the play presented by Bhardwaj and his team will remain unforgettable in the mind for a long time. He said that the people of Rewa not only know how to make relationships but also maintain them, an example of which is the Raj Kapoor Auditorium where Raj Kapoor ji was married and now the grand auditorium at this place has become a medium for art and culture lovers. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla congratulated the organizing committee. On this occasion, Bhardwaj said that theater and cinema are the mirrors of the society. He also appreciated Rewa’s understanding of the audience.
