Shiv Shankar told that earlier his family used to live in a dilapidated kutcha house. During rainy days, the entire family including children had to face serious inconvenience due to water dripping from the roof. Due to limited income and family responsibilities, it was not possible to build a permanent house. At such a time, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana came as a ray of hope for them.
Beneficiary Shiv Shankar expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and said that with the help of the scheme, he has got a permanent house, which has provided security and stability to his family. He said that now he is living happily with his children in a safe environment and his years old dream has been fulfilled.
