Indore. Indore Traffic Police has taken a big initiative to make the traffic management of the city smooth and safe. Now the operation of e-rickshaws in the city will not be arbitrarily, but on the basis of seven sectors. To make this new system effective, DCP Traffic Anand Kaladgi held an important meeting with e-rickshaw drivers and their representatives at Police Control Room Palasia today.
Identification will be done through color coding and special stickers.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Anand Kaladagi said that the city has been divided into 7 sectors, each of which has a different color coding.
- Special stickers will be installed on the front and rear of each e-rickshaw.
- The name of the sector, serial number and registration number of the vehicle will be recorded on the sticker.
- This will make it easier for the riders to identify the rickshaw and easier for the police to monitor.
Registration camps will be held at these 5 places
To ease the process of sector distribution, special camps will be organized in the city within the next two days. E-rickshaw drivers can get registered here by showing their valid documents:
- Traffic Station East (MTH Compound)
- Traffic Control Room West (Mahunaka)
- ACP Traffic Zone-1 Office (Malharganj)
- DCP Traffic Office (Palasiya)
- ACP Traffic Zone-2 Office (Pipaliyahana)
