‘Maitri’ workers of the state participated as special guests in the 77th Republic Day celebration.

Bhopal : ‘Maitri’ workers working in Madhya Pradesh Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department were invited by the Government of India as special guests along with their wives in the 77th Republic Day celebration held in New Delhi. On this occasion, a total of 23 Maitri workers from Vidisha, Dewas, Ratlam, Neemuch, Mandsaur and Betul districts brought pride to the state by participating in the program under the leadership of departmental nodal officers.

On the first day of the program, an interactive session of Maitri workers was organized by the Government of India with the Union Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh. During this, Minister Singh had direct communication with Shailendra Bhargava of Vidisha district and Lokendra Singh Thakur of Dewas district. In the dialogue, detailed information was taken about the work being done by Maitri workers at the ground level and suggestions were also invited to make the scheme more effective.

All the Maitri workers were present in the Republic Day Parade organized on the path of duty along with their wives and became witnesses of this historic and glorious moment. Maitri workers expressed gratitude to the Government of India and Madhya Pradesh Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department for providing this opportunity.

On this occasion, Dr. Shraddha Parihar, Dr. Preeti Makwana, Dr. Sandeep Kumre and Ravindra Singh Gaur were also present in the program along with Maitri workers as nodal officers from the department.
