Raipur : Commerce and Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, while being continuously active for the all-round development of Korba region, is continuously approving the development works and bringing them on the ground. In this series, today on Tuesday, in the Bhoomi Pujan program organized at two places in the Darri zone of Korba Municipal Corporation, the foundation stone of the development works to be done at a cost of Rs 2 crore, 32 lakh in seven wards was laid. With the completion of these works, the residents of the area will get better transportation facilities, get rid of the problem of drainage as well as get access to education and other basic facilities and will give a new impetus to the social and economic development of the area.
On this occasion, Minister Dewangan said that the overall development of Korba Assembly is his priority. The development works of Korba Assembly as well as the entire district are being completed on priority. He said that the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMF) is being used in a better way under the Vishnudev government. In the very first meeting of DMF, approval was given for the new construction of all the dilapidated government schools and Anganwadi buildings of the district. Along with this, we are working with determination to create wards and cities complete with basic infrastructure like roads, bridges, drains, drinking water, electricity, education and health. He directed the concerned officers that all the construction works should be completed within the time limit with quality material, so that the general public can get the benefits quickly.
On this occasion, Mayor Sanju Devi Rajput said that the government schools of the city were in a bad state. Due to the efforts of Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, funds have been approved for new buildings of all the dilapidated schools, as a result of which the construction of all the schools is being started simultaneously. The work is being accelerated by giving priority to all-round development.
