Horticulture and Agriculture departments were jointly honored with the first prize.

Raipur : Chhattisgarh has been declared the best state in the country for excellent implementation of Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme and Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme. Horticulture and Agriculture departments have been jointly awarded the first prize.

The Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister have congratulated the officials of the department on this achievement of the Chhattisgarh government. This award is a major achievement for the farmers of the state and reflects the success of the agricultural policies of the state government.

The award was given at the 13th National Review Conference held on 18-19 January 2026 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Joint Director in-charge Neeraj Shaha received this award on behalf of the Horticulture Department.
