According to Delhi Police, the youth has been identified as Visharjeet, resident of Rampur, who was in contact with the woman for the last 2 years. The woman told that the young man was already married, but he kept this fact hidden. At the same time, the victim told that the woman mixed some intoxicant in the milk and gave it to him. Police registered the case and started investigation
Police said that the injured youth was somehow taken to Hindu Rao Hospital for treatment, from where he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital for treatment. The young man’s surgery was done in Safdarjung Hospital itself and treatment is going on. At present, on the basis of the victim’s statement and medical report, the police have registered a case under sections 118 (2) and 123 of BNS and started investigation. Along with this, raids are being conducted to arrest the accused woman.
