Mahasamund. Sirpur Mahotsav 2026 will be organized in the cultural city of Sirpur of Chhattisgarh from 1 to 3 February 2026. This three-day festival, starting on the occasion of Magh Purnima, will be grandly inaugurated on February 1. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will be the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. The program will be presided over by Tourism and Culture, Religious Trusts and Endowments Minister Rajesh Aggarwal.
Presence of distinguished guests
In the main inauguration, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Finance and Commercial Tax Minister O.P. Chaudhary, MP Roop Kumari Chaudhary, and MLAs, district panchayat members and municipality presidents from Mahasamund and surrounding districts. This program will prove to be a major platform to showcase the cultural heritage and tribal art of Sirpur.
Extensive preparation of security and arrangements
The district administration and Sirpur Sada have made proper arrangements for security, traffic, sanitation, drinking water, medical and transportation. Its objective is that tourists and devotees can enjoy the festival without any kind of inconvenience. The administration has appealed to the common citizens to come in maximum numbers and actively participate in this cultural festival.

Sirpur Mahotsav 2026 will preserve the folk art, music and dance of Bastar as well as provide employment and cultural identity to the local community. This festival is an opportunity to highlight the traditions of Bastar at the national and international level.
