Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that farmers should not face any kind of problem in the wheat procurement process. District Collector should ensure 100% arrangements for verification of identified farmers from among the registered farmers, availability of gunny bags at procurement centers and timely payment to the farmers. Wheat will be procured in Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions from March 16 to May 5 and in the remaining divisions Jabalpur, Gwalior, Rewa, Shahdol, Chambal and Sagar from March 23 to May 12. Farmers will be able to register themselves till March 7. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave these instructions in a virtual conversation with district collectors after the state level meeting of the campaign organized at the Ministry on Thursday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to determine the procurement centers within the time limit, establish them and ensure all necessary facilities at these centres. He said that along with appropriate training of the staff engaged in procurement work, arrangements should be made for quick resolution of problems by holding regular meetings of the District Procurement Committee. It should also be ensured that updated information is easily available to the farmers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the District Collectors to stay in touch with the families of students and citizens of the district living in these countries in view of the unprecedented circumstances currently arising in the Gulf countries. He said that a control room has been set up in the Ministry of Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, New Delhi and Vallabh Bhawan to help the people of the state. Collectors should maintain constant coordination and contact with such individuals and families at the district level.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the final phase of the Sankalp Se Samadhan campaign is going on. 40 lakh applications have been resolved under the campaign. Now district level camp is to be organized till 16th March. The District Collector should ensure intensive monitoring of this development and public welfare activity. Any laxity will not be tolerated in the campaign. Only those collectors who give performance and results in all the activities of the district will remain in the field, this principle will also apply to all officers and employees.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed Alirajpur, Chhindwara, Pandhunha, Balaghat, Bhopal districts to immediately complete the action regarding VC setup in the districts. He said that the VC setup will help officers of all departments and public representatives to communicate up to the Panchayat level. This will facilitate review of development and public welfare works. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also gave necessary guidelines regarding the vision document of the assembly level.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that information spreading false or misleading information regarding governance and system should be immediately and effectively refuted at the district level. In the age of social media, it is necessary to quickly take stock of such activities. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that at present the time of examinations is going on at school and college level. District officers must conduct surprise inspections of educational institutions, hostels and university campuses. It should be ensured that the conduct of examinations and the commencement of the upcoming session remains uninterrupted. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also encouraged the district officers to do innovation at the district level.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the officers and employees of the state are expected to follow the office timings. In this regard, a surprise inspection of attendance was conducted in the Ministry yesterday during office hours. At the district level, district collectors should make arrangements for such inspections at their own level. The facilities given to the office staff are their right, along with this it should also be ensured that they get the work done as per the rules. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the process of surprise inspection will continue. If there is no improvement in adherence to office timings, then the system of 6 working days week will be implemented in the state. Our objective is to establish convenient arrangements for common citizens in government offices.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the year 2026 is being celebrated as Farmer Welfare Year in the state. In the traditional fairs held in the districts, exhibitions of those who have made innovations or achieved special achievements in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry etc. should be organized. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also instructed collectors to encourage home-stay at the district level. Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Mr. Ashok Baranwal, Mr. Sanjay Dubey, Mr. Neeraj Mandloi, Mrs. Deepali Rastogi, Mr. Shivshekhar Shukla and other officers were present in the meeting. All the district collectors participated in the meeting virtually.
