Bhopal : Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla participated in the free training on natural farming being given to the farmers in Gram Panchayat Hariharpur of Rewa district. Here, by developing a model of natural farming, farmers are also being made aware of doing natural farming. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla interacted with the farmers present in the training and took information about the merits of natural farming. He said that Rewa will become a hub of natural farming. Along with Basaman Mama Gauvansh Vanya Vihar, training in natural farming will also be given in Hinauti Gaudham so that the farmers of the concerned area can get training and do natural farming. He said that every farmer must do natural farming in some part of his land which is beneficial for the health of the land as well as for the health of himself and his family.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that we have to make our ancient knowledge tradition a habit. In Rewa district, there is enough water available for irrigation to the farmers, hence they should do farming in the right direction. He said that farmers are being given intensive training regarding natural farming production. Master trainers will be prepared from among the farmers who receive training who will give training to other farmers of the district regarding natural farming. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla has started natural farming of wheat in 4 acres of area and vegetables in one acre in his farm. He sprinkled Jagpavani in the fields and started making Gaukrupa Amrit in the training ground.
Knowledge of natural farming can change lives and generations.
Farmers Shivvaran Singh and Vinod, who are receiving training, said that this training is a training to change lives and generations. By adopting natural farming, we will be able to secure the future of our future generations. He said that after getting training, we will also train the farmers of the district to adopt natural farming. Farmers from nearby villages like Ajgarha, Hariharpur, Agdal etc. were present in the training.
Three-day free training on natural farming is being given in Hariharpur till 25th January. Training is being given daily from 12 noon to 3 pm by representatives of Ravi Shankar’s organization Living Art. In the training, information about land preparation for natural farming, seed treatment, making chemical-free fertilizers and pesticides and multilayer crops is being given. In the training, information about Bijamrit, Jeevamrit, Ghanjeevamrit, Panchgavya Jagpavani, Agnihotra manufacturing, Gaukrupa Amrit, Amrit Jal/Bhasm Jal, Bhasm Khad, Dhum Chikitsa, Neemastra, Brahmastra, Agneyastra, Tamra Dahi and Avar Khaad, used in natural farming, is also being given. All these are manufactured at nominal cost from materials available at home like cow dung, cow urine, jaggery, gram flour.
