Bhopal: After relief from cold for about a week in Madhya Pradesh, the weather has once again taken a turn. Due to the impact of western disturbance and two active weather systems, rain, storm and hailstorm have been recorded in more than 30 districts of the state. Due to this, fluctuations in temperature were seen and there was huge damage to the crops of farmers in many districts including Ujjain. Even today the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain and hailstorm in many districts.
Rain occurred in more than 30 districts of the state
In the last 24 hours, rain was recorded in more than 30 districts of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior. The maximum rainfall of about two and a half inches was recorded in Gwalior. It rained about one inch in Guna, Shivpuri and Sagar, one and a half inches in Datia and half an inch in Rajgarh. During this period, hailstorm was also recorded in 8 districts. Due to which other crops including wheat and gram were also destroyed.
Even today, hailstorm and rain alert in many districts
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of hailstorm with lightning in Maihar, Umaria, Rewa, Shahdol, Katni, Satna, Mauganj, Southern Shahdol and Rewa districts on Wednesday. There may be light thunderstorm in Jabalpur, Singrauli, Panna and Anuppur.
Very dense fog in Gwalior, visibility less than 50 meters
Very dense fog was seen in Gwalior on Wednesday morning. Visibility here was less than 50 meters. There was moderate fog in Khajuraho, where visibility was recorded between 200 to 500 meters. Fog was also affected in Bhopal, Datia, Narmadapuram, Naugaon, Rewa, Satna, Guna and Rajgarh. Where visibility was between 500 to 1000 meters.
Weather changed due to western disturbance and system
Meteorologist Arun Sharma Said that, “A cyclonic circulation is active over North Pakistan at a height of 3.1 and 4.5 kilometers.” Along with this, a trough line is formed at a height of 5.8 kilometers. Cyclonic circulation is also active around south-west Rajasthan at a height of 1.5 kilometers. Due to its effect, rain, storm and hailstorm are occurring in Madhya Pradesh. Another western disturbance is likely to affect north-west India from the night of January 30.
MLA wrote a letter regarding compensation
Due to hailstorm, wheat, gram and mustard crops of farmers in rural areas of Tarana and Ghattia tehsils of Ujjain district have been ruined. After which, Congress MLA from Tarana Mahesh Parmar has written a letter to the Chief Minister demanding a survey of crop loss, relief amount and insurance claim.
Torrential rain at night in the capital Bhopal
The weather took a sudden turn in the capital Bhopal on Tuesday night. Light rain started around 9 pm, which continued till 11 pm. After this, there was heavy torrential rain for about half an hour, due to which many roads were flooded.
Chance of rain even in early February
Meteorologist A.K. According to Shukla, “The new system will be activated in North-West India on January 30.” After two-three days its effect will be seen in Madhya Pradesh also. In such a situation, the rainy season may continue in many parts of the state even in the beginning of February.
