Chandigarh. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has demanded from Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj to telecast the meeting to be held on January 15 live. Chief Minister Mann said that messages are coming from all over the world that the Sangat wants to see Golak’s accounts and his explanations live.
That is why they request the Jathedar to show the entire process live with transparency, so that the Sangat can be aware of every fact. CM Mann said that he is going to appear at Sri Akal Takht Sahib with the evidence on January 15. He wrote that this demand is being made respecting the feeling that the entire Sangat is connected on a moment-to-moment and money-to-money basis. Mann said that when it comes to Golak’s record from Sangat’s side, the entire process should be telecast on all channels.
The matter came to light when the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib summoned Chief Minister Mann on January 15. He was accused of giving a statement regarding not putting money in Golak and also commented on the subject in some videos. The Jathedar has called Mann to clarify these statements. Never before in history has an individual’s explanation been broadcast live. Usually, disciplinary proceedings, meetings and clarification proceedings at Akal Takht Sahib are heard behind closed doors. After this, due to Mann putting forward this demand, the discussion has intensified in religious and political circles.
