‎Chief Minister urges CBI to investigate the case of murder of NEET student, so that the incident can be investigated in a transparent and fair manner – Prem Ranjan Patel

Patna. It is a highly commendable and sensitive initiative by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to recommend a CBI investigation to the Government of India regarding the brutal murder of a NEET student in Patna (Case No. 14/26). Bharatiya Janata Party state spokesperson and former MLA Prem Ranjan Patel further said in his press statement that this decision makes it clear that the state government does not want to leave any laxity or scope for doubt in the investigation of this heinous crime. Investigation by a central agency like CBI will ensure fairness, transparency and credibility of the case and it will be possible to take concrete action towards giving strictest punishment to the culprits. This initiative of justice will not only give reassurance to the victim’s family, but will also give a message to the society that no criminal can escape before the law. The government is fully committed to protecting the safety, respect and future of girl students.
