Madhya Pradesh News: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced that the Union Cabinet has approved the doubling of Gondia-Jabalpur railway line. The Chief Minister termed it an important gift for the state including Mahakaushal area and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and the Union Cabinet for this decision.
He says that this project will strengthen the connectivity in Balaghat district as well as Jabalpur, Mandla and Seoni which is free from Naxal problem and will also boost trade, business and tourism. In the first cabinet meeting of the Central Government in Sevatirtha, approval has been given for doubling the Gondia to Jabalpur railway line. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has described it as an important corridor from Ramayana Circuit to North to South.
New employment opportunities will be created
Balaghat district will get the maximum benefit of this doubling in the form of development. The Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the doubling of Gondia-Jabalpur railway line and sanctioned an amount of Rs 5236 crore. Completion of this work will give impetus to the development of Madhya Pradesh and new employment opportunities will be created.
