Bhopal : Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that along with winning in sports, players should also learn. It is the responsibility of the player to give his best for his team regardless of victory or defeat. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla inaugurated the football competition in Khelo MP Youth Games at Sports Complex Rewa.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the game should be played in the spirit of sports. It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose. Don’t be proud when you win and don’t be disappointed when you lose. One should participate in the competition by contributing equally and with the eagerness to learn. He said that good grounds and sporting events are necessary for the players. There is no dearth of playgrounds in Rewa and sports competitions are also being organized through which players are able to showcase their talent. He said that this event is being organized on the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He wished all the players good luck. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that a synthetic track costing Rs 10.5 crore will be constructed in the Sports Complex by the month of April. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla got introduced to the players.
Players from the state’s divisions are playing football matches in Rewa’s Sports Complex, TRS Ground and Sainik School Ground. More than 400 players from Rewa have also gone to the state level to participate in various competitions. On this occasion, MLA Mangawan Eng. Narendra Prajapati, Superintendent of Police Shailendra Singh Chauhan, Divisional Sports Officer M.K. Sports lovers including Dholpuri and players and coaches of the divisions were present.
