Indore. This time the festival of Rangpanchami will be celebrated on Sunday (8 March). On this day, a magnificent ‘Ger’ is celebrated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Lakhs of people gather in Rajbada area and play Holi with colors and gulal. Tableaux are taken out, through which people are drenched with water guns and colourguns. The administration has made all arrangements for this. There is going to be a tight police vigil during this program. Along with this, the police has issued a traffic plan.

No entry of vehicles in these areas

Indore Police Administration has issued a traffic diversion plan regarding the organization of Rangpanchami Ger 2026. For four wheelers, there will be complete restrictions from Sanjay Setu to Raj Mohalla, Municipal Corporation to Bada Ganpati, Harsiddhi to Yashwant Road and Naya Peetha to Narsingh Bazaar. Entry of city buses and loading vehicles will be restricted in Jawahar Marg and Rajwada area.

These areas are included in the restricted area

Hamilton Road, Fruit Market to Rajwada, Sanjay Setu to Mriganayani (Nandalapura), Imli Bazaar to Rajwada, Badwali Chowki to Gaurakund, Yashwant Road to Rajwada, Ram Laxman Bazaar to Pipli Bazaar, Narsingh Bazaar to Shitala Mata Bazaar, Malganj to Lohar Patti, Itwaria to Kanch Mandir, Jawahar Marg to Sarafa Police Station area have been declared as restricted areas.

There will be parking arrangements at these places

Parking arrangements have been made at Sanjay Setu River Side, Premsukh Talkies Multilevel Parking, Kadav Ghat Parking, Jinsi Haat Ground, Rambagh Parking, Harsiddhi Mandir area, Khalsa Stadium and Malganj Vegetable Market.

Diversion will remain on these routes

First Route: Mriganayani – Municipal Corporation – Lokhade – Shivalaya – Marimata

Second route: Kadav Ghat – Dargah – Biabani – Gangwal

Third Route: Wireless Tiraha – Kila Maidan – Marimata – DRP

Fourth Route: Gangwal Bus Stand – Mhow Naka – Palsikar – Tower Square – Bhawarkuan

Emergency vehicles like police, ambulance and fire brigade will have complete freedom of movement in the restricted area. Before joining the GER, know the traffic plan so that you can avoid any kind of problems and difficulties.
