Ruchi Singh, granddaughter of Korjana village of Cheria Bariyarpur block, has secured a place in the Indian Police Service (IPS) by securing All India Rank 171. Presently he is working on the post of Panchayati Raj Officer. At the same time, Nitish Kumar, resident of Bijulia West Tola of Shamho police station area, has succeeded in the Civil Services Examination by securing 305th rank. He is currently serving on the post of Major. There is an atmosphere of happiness throughout the district due to the success of both.

Ruchi Singh becomes IPS, gets 171st rank

Begusarai’s daughter Ruchi Singh has secured a place in the Indian Police Service by securing 171st rank in the UPSC exam. Ruchi Singh is the granddaughter of Uma Kant Singh, resident of Korjana village and her childhood was spent in this village. As soon as the news of his success reached the village, a wave of happiness spread throughout the area. Villagers and family members expressed their happiness by distributing sweets. Ruchi Singh’s father Ramshankar Singh is working as Inspector in the Police Department in Banka district, while his mother Nisha Singh is a resident of Korjana village. Ruchi Singh’s primary education was from BRDAB School, Begusarai, from where he completed his studies till class 10th. After this, he studied further from the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and on the basis of hard work, he achieved success in the difficult examination like UPSC.

Army Major Nitish Kumar achieved 305th rank

Nitish Kumar, resident of Bijulia West Tola of Shamho police station area of ​​the district, has brought glory to the district by securing 305th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Nitish Kumar is the son of Shivakant Singh and teacher Kiran Singh. His grandfather Narayan Sharma was a well-known leader of his time and had also been the president of Bijulia PACS. Nitish Kumar’s primary education came from the village’s middle school, Bijulia, from where he studied till eighth standard. After this he passed Matriculation from Madhya Pradesh and Intermediate examination from Maharashtra. After Inter, he reached Patna for medical preparation, but during this time he passed the NDA exam and chose the path of becoming an officer in the Indian Army. He has been serving as an officer in the Indian Army since 2010 and is currently posted at the rank of Major.

Despite being busy with his job, Nitish Kumar continued his UPSC preparation by studying on his own and achieved success in the third attempt with Anthropology subject. Before this he had even reached the interview once. This success of both has created an atmosphere of inspiration and pride for the youth in Begusarai district.
