Family members allege that an ambulance was not available at the spot. He was forced to be taken to the district hospital in a loader vehicle. When his condition deteriorated on the way, his son tried to give CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) in the moving vehicle.

According to eyewitnesses, there was a delay in reaching the hospital due to traffic jam in the city. Some people came forward and cleared the way, then the vehicle could reach the hospital. Aditi Aggarwal, duty doctor of the district hospital, said that the patient was brought with chest pain and in critical condition. He was found dead during investigation. Civil Surgeon Dr. Sharad Chaurasia said that the patient had already died before he was brought to the hospital. He told that the patient had come in ‘brought dead’ state, that is, he had died before reaching the hospital.
