Bhopal. With the aim of strengthening the roots of democracy in LNCT University and making the young generation familiar with parliamentary functioning, a grand event of ‘Youth Parliament Competition’ was organized in the School of Legal Studies, LNCT University. In this programme, students not only played the role of MPs and Ministers but also had intense debates on burning national issues. The chief guest of the program was Rameshwar Sharma (MLA, Huzur). The program started with lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Chief guest of the program Rameshwar Sharma while addressing everyone said that democracy is the basis of this country and youth is the voice of that democracy. This program Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar Sahu (Dean and Director, School of Legal Studies, LNCT University). During the program, Jai Narayan Chowksey (Chancellor, LNCT University), Dr. Anupam Chowksey (Group Secretary, LNCT), Prof. (Dr.) N. Of. Thapak (V.C., LNCT University), Dr. Ajit Soni (Registrar, LNCT University), (Dr.) A. Of. Singhai (Dean Academic, LNCT University) and Prof. (Dr.) R. Of. Chawrasia (Principal, School of Paramedical, LNCT University) was present.

The proceedings of the House started with the President’s address and the ‘oath taking’ of the members, after which during the ‘Question Hour’, the opposition members asked sharp questions, to which the ministers of the ruling party answered in concise language. M.K. as the jury Rajouria (Deputy Director, Parliamentary School), Ramesh Mahajan (Retired Deputy Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat), Arun Mishra (Assistant Professor, Law, State Level Law College) and Anita Gendhar (In-charge of Youth Parliament) were present. Namika Dubey, Rohit Sharma and Durgendra Singh Rajput had important contributions in making this program successful. Everyone including Dharmendra Gupta (Executive Director) congratulated on the success of the program.
