Major administrative reshuffle in Public Works Department, order issued for transfer of 17 officers, see complete details

Raipur. In a major reshuffle from the administrative point of view, the Public Works Department of Chhattisgarh Government has issued transfer orders of 17 Assistant Engineers/Sub-Divisional Officers. Under order number ESTB-102(2)/42/2026 issued on 20 February 2026 from Mahanadi Bhawan, Ministry Naya Raipur Atal Nagar, these officers have been transferred from their present place of posting and sent to their new posting. It has been clarified in the order that all the transfers will come into effect with immediate effect and will remain effective till further orders.

In the list released by the department, new responsibilities have been assigned to the officers posted in various districts and sub-divisions as per the administrative requirement. The order mentions that the approval of the competent authority has been obtained for the transfer. This order has been issued in the name and as per the orders of the Governor of Chhattisgarh, on which the digital signature of the Deputy Secretary is recorded.
