Bhopal : Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that India has always been a country of “skills”. In India, skill has traditionally existed and has been the backbone of India’s economy in the past. Even today in rural India, skills are being passed down from generation to generation. There is a need to take forward this traditional skill of rural India in an opportune perspective by combining it with modern technologies as per the requirement of the present scenario. Minister Parmar said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state government is working with commitment towards providing employable education to the youth. Parmar said that he is continuously working to bridge the gap between industry and educational institutions. For this, courses are being created in technical education as per the needs of the industry. Industries are moving towards setting up centers of excellence in engineering and polytechnic institutions to prepare industry ready skilled manpower.
Technical Education Minister Parmar was addressing the trained youth at the closing ceremony of the training camp project āSwavalambanā under CSR of BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited) at CRISP Institute (Center for Research and Industrial Staff Performance) in Bhopal on Thursday.
Minister Parmar said that to make India a leading economy on the world stage again, the youth will have to adopt skill-based training. Parmar said that the job seekers should be ready and the job providers should also be ready, for this only startup culture and skill based employment will pave the way for the future. Parmar appreciated the efforts of CRISP Institute towards making rural youth self-reliant. Parmar said that the culture of promoting indigenous products is still prevalent in rural India. By imbibing the spirit of Swadeshi, the concept of self-reliant India will be realized. Parmar said that by 2047, the centenary year of independence, everyone’s determined efforts and efforts are needed to make India a leader on the world stage again.
At the function, Minister Parmar distributed certificates to the trained youth and job offer letters to the selected youth. Also flagged off the bus of youth selected for joining in Pune, Maharashtra with best wishes.
While sharing their experiences in the program, the trainees described it as an important initiative to link training with employment. The institute called it an important step towards making the youth technically empowered and self-reliant.
It is noteworthy that in the first phase of “Swavalamban” project, 95 trainees were successfully trained in Bhopal, out of which all 95 trainees have got employment, which is a direct proof of 100 percent placement. Of these, 80 trained youth have left for Pune to join jobs after the function.
On this occasion, Director Crisp Amol Vaidya, Chief General Manager (Human Resources) of BPCL Bina Refinery Shirish Chandekar and Chief General Manager (Finance) BPCL (Bina Refinery) Aytodha Kiran. S including various officials of BPCL (Bina Refinery) and Crisp Institute, trained and selected youth were present.
