Raipur : Under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, a massive campaign is being run for creation of Aabha ID (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) in Kondagaon district. Under this special campaign, Health Department teams are reaching door-to-door and making Abha ID of the citizens, due to which people do not have to visit any office or hospital.
Health workers and Mitanin sisters are giving information to people in rural and urban areas about the importance of Abha ID and doing registration on the spot. This initiative is providing special facilities to the elderly, women and citizens living in remote areas.
So far, about 5 lakh 60 thousand Abha IDs have been created in the district. To make Abha ID, only Aadhar card is required. Citizens who have Aadhaar card can get their Aadha ID made by contacting a health worker or visiting the nearest community health centre.
Aabha ID is a digital health identity card, through which the entire health record of a person remains securely available on a digital platform. With this, patients can easily get treatment in any government or private hospital of the country. Keeping the information about past treatments digitally safe makes it easier for doctors to provide treatment and patients do not need to carry documents again and again.
The district administration has appealed to all the citizens to cooperate in this campaign and get their Abha ID made. This initiative is not only important for personal health security but is also an important step towards connecting the district with a digital and empowered health system.
This Abha ID creation campaign going on in an aspirational district like Kondagaon will prove to be a strong foundation for better, faster and reliable health services in the times to come.
