Raipur : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is taking big steps towards digital revolution in rural and tribal areas. In this series, work is being done rapidly on the ambitious plan of installing 82 new towers of BSNL in the villages of different development blocks of Kanker district.

District administration officials said that the main objective of this initiative is to ensure access to high-speed internet to remote and inaccessible areas, so that the citizens there can get direct benefits of online education, digital services and various government schemes.

Officials said that better digital connectivity will provide new employment opportunities to rural youth and will accelerate development at the local level. Installation of mobile towers in these areas, which have been suffering from network problems for a long time, will strengthen the communication system and quick access to emergency services will also be possible. Strengthening the digital infrastructure by the state government is an important step towards good governance and inclusive growth. With the completion of this project in the coming time, new possibilities of development will open up in the remote areas of the district.

The villages in Kanker district where new BSNL towers will be installed include villages Jepara, Parvi, Pandaripani, Asulkhar, Dhaneli, Dhutapipli Schoolpara Amakada, Khorra, Parvi Jalhur, Pichekatta, Shahkatta, Telamma, Uttmar under Bhanupratappur block. Similarly, under Koylibeda block, villages Tadhur, Muravandi Mundla, Navgel, Pindaksa, Pittebhodiya, Anjadi, Budhandand, Chhindpal Santola, Chhotebodeli Prohapara, Devipara, Kadme Sodwapara, Khairkatta Colony, Khairkatta Colony Ujala, Koygaon, Machapalli Hidur, Metabodeli Shikaripara, Muravandi, Murdonda. Villages of Narharpur block are Dudumbahara, Khadarwahi, Marrampani, Marwari, Behanapani, Dabena, Dabena Jangalpara, Masulpani, Patharrinala, Behanapani, Ankhihara. Villages of Sarona tehsil include Dhanesara, Gattagudum, Mandradarha, Tiriyarpani, Khallari, Sonpur.

Similarly, villages of Durgukondal block Bhandardigi, Doddekadar, Guravandi Manghur, Dode, Kondruj Gudum, Paurkheda, Rasuli Nalaksa, Kondruj Dandaikheda, Pachangi Kosparali, Haipurkasa Hepur, Hamatwahi Palvi, Hinganjhar, Jhitkatola, Jhitkatola Tamoda, Kosparali Parali, Marrampani, Pachangi, Palvi Ghurwandi. Villages Getindangra Temrugaon, Jodand Bagjhar, Badrengi Tekapani, Amodi Pandripara, Kadhaikhodara Mandam, Lohattar Patelpara, Sarandi Schoolpara, Bhainsasur Doomarkotpara, Khodapani Schoolpara of Antagarh block. New BSLL towers will also be installed in Charama block Damkasa, Gotitola Madhubanpara, Parsoda Sahupara, villages Bhainsgaon, Kanagaon, Kulgaon, Petoli, Puswada Maripara of Kanker block.
