Bhopal: 2014 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, Avi Prasad is once again in the news regarding his family life. Avi Prasad, CEO of Madhya Pradesh Employment Guarantee Council, has now married for the third time. He is married for the third time to IAS officer Ankita Dhakre. On February 11, 2026, Avi and Ankita got married with simplicity in the presence of close ones at Kuno National Park. Ankita is an IAS officer of 2017 batch and is currently posted as Deputy Secretary in the ministry.

2014 batch IAS officer Avi Prasad is originally from Bihar. He was first married to 2014 batch IAS officer Riju Bafna. It is said that both of them knew each other since the time of UPSC preparation, but their marriage broke soon after their marriage. Riju Bafna is currently Shajapur Collector.
After this, Avi Prasad married IAS officer Misha Singh for the second time in 2016, but their relationship broke after only 4 years. Both of them got divorced. Misha Singh is currently Ratlam Collector. Avi Prasad is now married to IAS Ankita Dhakre.
Ankita is a resident of Ashoknagar.
Ankita Dhakre is an IAS officer of 2017 batch and is currently the Deputy Secretary in the ministry. Ankita is originally from Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh. His father Ravindra Singh Dhakre has retired as a food officer. Ankita has been SDM in many districts. There is a lot of discussion on social media about their marriage. However, both the officials have not given any reaction regarding this.
Avi Prasad’s family background is political. His grandfather Tambeshwar Prasad was a minister in the government of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. Before becoming an IAS officer, Avi Prasad was an IPS officer and before that he was also selected on the post of manager in RBI. Avi Prasad became an IPS in the year 2013, but a year later he again appeared in the UPSC exam and became an IAS by securing 12th rank.
