Patna. After becoming the national president, Nitin Naveen reached Patna for the first time on Monday 9 February. He was given a grand welcome on this occasion. Nitin Naveen looked emotional while addressing the function organized in Bapu Auditorium. He said that he is not able to understand in what words to express his feelings. He expressed his gratitude for the trust reposed by the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he will make every effort to live up to this responsibility.
During his address, Nitin Naveen made a scathing attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He said that today’s generation probably cannot even imagine how difficult it was to work during the Jungle Raj era. He said, at that time workers used to quietly deliver slips to every home. There was an atmosphere of fear and chaos. We have taken Bihar out of that jungle kingdom and brought it here. Nitin Naveen said that BJP has taken Bihar forward on the path of development and good governance. Referring to his political journey, he said that he came into politics after the death of his father in the year 2006 and now it has been almost 20 years. He said that the values he received from his parents have taken him to this point and he salutes them.
Here Nitin Naveen said that after becoming the national president, his responsibility has increased further. Now it will not work to just say that a boy from Bihar has become the national president, rather work will have to be done on the ground to further strengthen the organization. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, who was present in the program, said that it is a matter of pride for Bihar that Nitin Naveen has reached this post. He said that getting this responsibility after winning 202 seats in the assembly elections is the result of the party’s hard work. He called upon the workers to further strengthen the organization at the booth level and said that the next target is to form BJP governments in West Bengal, Telangana and Kerala.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha said that BJP is a party that works for the nation, where relationships and not just membership matter. Referring to the achievements of the dual engine government, he said that Bihar has touched new dimensions of development.
At the same time, Bihar BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi described Nitin Naveen as the son of the soil of Bihar and said that even an ordinary worker can reach the top position in BJP. He described it as a symbol of the organizational strength of the party.
