Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that on behalf of the entire Madhya Pradesh, we salute and salute such Shabari Maiya who remained speechless and gave immortal words to her virtuous feelings. Who does not know the glory of Mother Shabari, after eating the ripe plum, even Lord Ram became blessed with devotion. It is the height of devotion to check the sweetness of the plum yourself before offering it to God. This incident tells us that God is not hungry for the devotee’s method of worship, but for the feelings in his heart. The value of a person is determined by the purity of his heart, not by birth. The Chief Minister said that Shabari Maiya, the family goddess of Kol community, is always adorable, worshipable and venerable for all of us. With his character and good deeds, he increased the respect of the entire forest dweller and tribal society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Tribal Beneficiary Conference organized on Mata Shabari Jayanti at Sitamarhi Dham in village Gandhiya of Beohari assembly constituency of Shahdol district on Sunday. The Chief Minister paid homage to Shabari Maiya by unveiling a beautiful statue of her in Sitamarhi campus. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 139 development works costing Rs 747 crore 91 lakh for Shahdol district from village Gandhiya. This includes inauguration of 79 works costing more than Rs 613 crore and bhoomi pujan of 60 works costing more than Rs 134 crore. The Chief Minister also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various government schemes here.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the overall welfare of the tribal class is our priority. In the state, development works worth Rs 98 crore 30 lakh under PM Jan-Man Yojana and more than Rs 401.56 crore under Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Abhiyan have been inaugurated and bhoomi pujan done. Our government has made the stories of the heroes of the tribal society a part of the educational curriculum.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shabari Mata waited for Lord Ram for years. Kept watching Ram’s path for many years. She kept cleaning her hut every day thinking that if not today, then tomorrow Ram will come. This is a reflection of a devotee’s unwavering faith in his God. The Chief Minister said that Lord Ram came, was extremely moved by the devotion and affection of Shabari Maiya and also granted salvation by giving her the knowledge of Navadha Bhakti. Our government has established Ramchandra Path Gaman Trust to praise Shabari Maiya and Lord Shri Ram, who is adored by all of us. We are going to construct 1450 km long Ram Van Gaman Path in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh got special affection from Shri Ram. He spent 11 years in Chitrakoot. He also stayed in village Gandhiya for 11 nights. That is why Gandhiya has also been included in the Ram Van Gaman Path Development Scheme. This will lead to the development of gandhiya. The government has sanctioned approximately Rs 80 lakh for the development of this village.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the construction of a 30-bed hospital in Beohari. The Chief Minister also announced to open a gate of the regional Sanjay Doobri Tiger Reserve towards Beohari for developing Sitamarhi Dham as a religious tourism center and for the development and expansion of wildlife tourism activities. The Chief Minister said that Mahua and Jackfruit are found in abundance in this area. That is why to make the medicines and other products made from these two available in the market and to encourage industry, employment and exports in the area, the Chief Minister announced the opening of an Industrial Development Center here. The Chief Minister also announced to build the necessary bypass for Jaisingh Nagar and to convert the present sub tehsil Amadih of Jaisingh Nagar tehsil area into a tehsil after conducting tests. The Chief Minister said that the people here have expressed confidence in the development policies of the government, hence we will leave no stone unturned for the development of this area.

Sidhi MP Dr. Rajesh Mishra said that the sacred feet of Lord Ram were lying on this land in Tretayuga. The Chief Minister has blessed the area by unveiling the statue of Shabari Mata and giving gifts of development. The MP placed various demands including construction of four lane road from Katni to Singrauli via Beohari, establishment of industrial centre. MLA Jaisinghnagar Manisha Singh thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for various gifts for the development of the area. MLA Beauhari Sharad Juglal ​​Kol said that the Chief Minister has arrived here after a wait of 70 years. The Chief Minister has given many gifts to Shahdol area including irrigation facilities.

District Panchayat President Prof. Bha Mishra, Vice President Phoolwati Singh, District President Jaisinghnagar Malti Singh, District President Beauhari Akankshi Singh, Member District Planning Committee Chapra, local public representatives and distinguished citizens along with Commissioner Surabhi Gupta and Collector Dr. Kedar Singh were present in the program.
