Tourists flocked to see snow in Himachal, traffic jam on roads, 15 thousand vehicles arriving daily

As the roads are being restored after the snowfall has stopped, tourists have now started reaching Naldehra in Shimla, Kufri, Mahasu Peak, Solanganala in Manali and Dalhousie in Chamba. As soon as the photo-video of snow in Himachal Pradesh went viral, tourists from all over the country started flocking to the mountains. At these places, tourists are making their journey memorable by playing in the snow, dancing, making snowmen, horse and yacht riding, skating, snow scooter, paragliding and recording reels. Tourists are having fun in the snow all day long. After the restoration of the road by this weekend, tourists will be able to reach Narkanda and Atal Tunnel.
Let us tell you that the occupancy in the hotels of Shimla and Manali has reached 70 to 80 percent. There is a 100 percent chance of it happening over the weekend. Therefore, tourists visiting Shimla-Manali on weekends are advised to book in advance. Shimla hotelier Ashnani Sood said that Shimla has received snowfall after four years. This is expected to bring good tourists in the next 15-20 days.
According to the police, 12 thousand to 15 thousand tourist vehicles are reaching Shimla every day alone. Due to this, there is traffic jam in Shimla city as well as between Chharabra, Kufri and Fagu. A journey of one hour is taking four to five hours. Due to this, not only tourists but also locals are troubled. In Manali too, since last one week, there is traffic jam from Patlikulah, 15 and 16 miles till Manali. The biggest reason for the traffic jam in Manali is the closure of the roads connecting the nearby tourist places because due to heavy snowfall, the roads connecting the tourist places like Jigbi Valley, Solang Nala, Atal Tunnel, Koksar, Keylong etc. were closed. But now the work of removing snow from the roads is going on. With this, tourists will start reaching all these tourist places in a day or two. Only then will there be relief from traffic jam in Manali.
