Bhopal. Protests are being seen in various states of the country regarding the new law of the University Grants Commission (UGC). At the same time, in Madhya Pradesh, women of Brahmin community have also given a call. Madhya Pradesh Progressive Brahmin Women’s Organization protested fiercely against the new law of UGC. During this, women burnt copies of the UGC order.

It is dangerous for general category students

Women in Madhya Pradesh have opened a front against the new bill of UGC. Varsha Trivedi, President of Madhya Pradesh Progressive Brahmin Women’s Organization, said that the new guidelines of UGC Act 2026 are fatal for the general category students. The new guidelines of UGC are going to create inequality for the students. Calling the UGC Act a black law, the protesters have warned of violent agitation.

‘Why so much inequality with the general category people?’

Varsha Trivedi, President of Madhya Pradesh Progressive Brahmin Women’s Organization, said, ‘Constitution means equal legislation. But why is there so much inequality with the general category? Reservation is already so high that children are facing a lot of problems. A committee was constituted under the UGC Act. No person from the general category was included in this. In this, if fake complaint is made against general category students, then the committee will suspend the general students. That is why we are opposing this law. This law is not at all good for the general category of people.

‘If the law is not withdrawn there will be a violent movement’

President of Madhya Pradesh Progressive Brahmin Women’s Organization, Varsha Trivedi said, ‘It will be very difficult for general category students to go to school and college. If someone says something, listen quietly. If you answer anything then there will be trouble. If this situation continues then the condition of the upper castes will become very bad. First the British ran the government and now the government has brought this law. We request our government to withdraw this law. If the government does not do this, our movement will become more violent.
