Lucknow . Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Uttar Pradesh has become the fourth largest economy of the country today. Amit Shah attended the Uttar Pradesh Day celebrations along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has pledged to make a developed Uttar Pradesh… Uttar Pradesh is the heartbeat of India in one way and it is the soul of India in other ways. It is also going to become the engine of India’s development. In a state-level program organized in Lucknow on the occasion of UP Day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that once upon a time, Uttar Pradesh was considered as a labor source state. Uttar Pradesh, which is recognized in India, has today become the fourth largest economy in the country. He said that the BJP government has transformed UP, which was a sick state during the rule of Congress, SP and BSP, into a break-through state and now this state is becoming a strong base for the resolve of developed India.
During this, while inaugurating the Sardar Patel Industrial Scheme started in the name of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, he said that a well-planned roadmap has been prepared to make Uttar Pradesh a one trillion dollar economy. He expressed confidence that in the coming years, every district of the state will be equipped with employment and the youth will get respectable livelihood in their own state. Shah said that once upon a time our Uttar Pradesh was known as a labor source state. Today Uttar Pradesh has become the fourth largest state in the economy of the country. It is a matter of joy and pride for all of us. During the rule of Congress, SP and BSP, Uttar Pradesh was kept as a sick state. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government has made Uttar Pradesh a break-through state by taking it out of the BIMARU state and has worked to take development to every village.
Shah said that in 2017, when we were preparing the manifesto of Uttar Pradesh in Delhi, the concept of ‘one district one product’ was included in the manifesto of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Today see the miracle of our double engine government… ‘One District One Product’ scheme was not only successful in Uttar Pradesh, but has spread across the country taking inspiration from here. Today this scheme has become a means of employment for our artisans, youth, women and mothers.
