Chhattisgarh meritorious students: The felicitation ceremony was organized by the Board of Secondary Education at Chhattisgarh Mandapam of Lok Bhavan, where the top meritorious students of 10th and 12th board examinations were honored. Governor Ramen Deka was the chief guest and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai was presiding over this program. School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav was present as a special guest.
In the program, the top 10 meritorious students of the year 2024 and 2025 and top students of special backward tribe category were honored under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Meritorious Student Incentive Scheme. Governor Deka, while congratulating the students, said that board examinations are the first step towards moving towards the goals of life. He inspired the students to move forward, be patient and dream big.
Praising the culture of Chhattisgarh, the Governor said that this state is full of immense possibilities and is creating a new identity in the field of education. He advised the students preparing for IIT and NEET not to get discouraged and adopt new career options.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that students are the future of the country and the state and the contribution of parents and teachers is important in their success. He wished all the students a happy Basant Panchami and wished for the blessings of Mother Saraswati.
