Bhopal. Registering another major success in the medical field, JK Hospital has announced the complete recovery and discharge of 26-year-old youth Rajesh Maurya. Rajesh kept fighting the battle of life and death in the Emergency Medicine ICU of JK Hospital for almost two months. The special thing was that his entire treatment was given free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. According to family members, on November 20, 2025, after duty in Karimnagar, Telangana, Rajesh probably consumed illicit liquor mixed with methanol, after which his condition suddenly deteriorated. He vomited blood 3-4 times, became unconscious and started having epileptic-like seizures in his hands and legs. Initially he was admitted to a government hospital in Telangana, where he was put on ventilator when his condition became critical. Despite this, on 22 November 2025, against medical advice, the family discharged him from there and brought him to JK Hospital. Rajesh’s condition was extremely critical at the time of admission in the Emergency Medicine ICU of JK Hospital. He had a fever of 100.1°F, a rapid pulse of 188 per minute, and was placed on powerful medications such as noradrenaline to maintain blood pressure. According to doctors, this condition was fatal. A team of expert doctors under the leadership of Dr. Manish Badkur monitored and treated him day and night. Serious complications related to brain, heart and other organs were treated with modern and scientific methods. After continuous efforts, Rajesh’s condition gradually improved, all necessary tests came back normal and complications were controlled. After two months of continuous intensive treatment and care, Rajesh was discharged from the hospital in a completely healthy condition on 22 January 2026. On this occasion, JK Hospital management wished Rajesh a bright and healthy future and appealed to the general public that in such emergency situations, reaching the right hospital and critical care on time can save life.
