Raipur : Hearing of various complaints received in Chhattisgarh State Backward Classes Commission was completed today under the leadership of Commission Chairman Nehru Ram Nishad and Vice Chairman Chandrakanti Verma. Commission Secretary Sankalp Sahu and Research Officer Anita Dekate were present in the hearing.
During the hearing, the cases pending before the Commission were reviewed in detail and all the concerned parties were given an opportunity to present their views impartially. Commission Chairman Nishad, listening seriously to the problems of the complainants, issued necessary guidelines for a just decision as per the rules and regulations.
In the case of stoppage of consolidated salary increase of applicant Chandrakumar Sonkar, National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh gave assurance of providing salary increase for the year 2018-19. On the complaint regarding violation of reservation in assistant professor recruitment presented by the applicant Suresh Kumar Yadav, both the parties were cross-examined and the government was asked to send suggestions for issuing subject wise post advertisement. Similarly, in the case of Naresh Kumar Dhivar, an agreement was executed for payment of Rs 1.80 lakh within 60 days.
In relation to the complaint submitted by the applicants Ramshankar Sahu and Shailesh Kumar Swarnkar, the non-applicant Superintending Engineer S.S. Bhupal was present and presented his side. It was told by the non-applicant that both the applicants are dissatisfied with the transfer done as per the order of the government and are presenting baseless and baseless complaints against them. Apart from this, the case presented by applicant Narendra Kumar Yadav and others against Baikunth Cement Company was heard in the presence of both the parties. The commission was informed that the non-applicant party would call the contractors and representatives of the company and interrogate them on the upcoming date. After the hearing, necessary instructions were issued to the concerned officers for prompt and effective implementation of the decisions taken by the Commission.
