Bhopal : In Davos, the Madhya Pradesh government discussed the possibilities of cooperation and investment in the field of Artificial Intelligence and emerging digital technologies with Herve Couraye, advisor of AI-based company Touch Lab Company. Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Raghavendra Singh, discussed the state’s technical capabilities, policy support and practical aspects of possible partnerships.
In the meeting, representatives of Touch Lab company shared their global experience regarding AI based advanced technological solutions and said that the company has expanded to the United Kingdom, Tokyo and the United States. The company said that they are participating in the upcoming Global AI Summit.
Principal Secretary Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is moving forward with a phased and realistic approach in the field of AI and emerging technologies. He highlighted the affordable and reliable power infrastructure available in the state, saying it provides a vital base for data center and compute-intensive operations. Describing NATRAX as a unique technology asset of the state, he said that being the largest automotive testing and validation track in the country, it provides real-use-based opportunities for advanced mobility, AI based testing and next generation technology applications.
The meeting also discussed education and research based cooperation, with special emphasis on strengthening SME participation and applied innovation. Referring to the start-up eco system of the state, Principal Secretary Singh said that more than six thousand registered start-ups are active in Madhya Pradesh, which provide a collaborative environment for pilot projects, testing and co-development of new technologies.
Touch Lab expressed interest in the potential use of its technology in areas such as cyber security and online gaming. This interest is in line with Madhya Pradesh’s dedicated policies related to AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics) and digital innovation.
Both sides agreed to continue the dialogue on AI-centric pilot projects, eco-system partnerships and possibilities of technology-based initiatives in Madhya Pradesh. This dialogue reflects Madhya Pradesh’s strategy in Davos under which the state is exploring opportunities for collaboration and investment in emerging areas like AI and DeepTech through practical dialogue with global technology companies.
