Samajwadi Party leader and former MLC Dr. Rakesh Singh Rana launched the signature campaign by holding village-to-village meetings, demanding the proper and smooth operation of the Trauma Center which has been of public interest in the area for a long time. A large number of villagers participated in the meeting held in village Pora on the first day of the campaign. Addressing the villagers, Dr. Rakesh Singh Rana said that the operation of the Trauma Center is directly linked to thousands of lives in the area. People lose their lives due to road accidents, serious illness or not getting timely treatment in emergency situations. If Sikanderau Trauma Center is operated with full capacity by ensuring the availability of doctors, it can prove to be life-saving for the poor, farmers, laborers and common citizens. He said that the Trauma Center is not just a building, but a center of public safety and trust. Appealing to the villagers to actively participate in the signature campaign, he said that this fight is not for any individual or party, but for the rights and future of the entire area. Only the united voice of the public can force the administration to take concrete decisions in public interest. Citizens of village Pora also signed in large numbers supporting the campaign and termed the demand for early and complete operation of the Trauma Center as their moral responsibility. The villagers expressed hope that this campaign would take the form of a mass movement in the entire Sikandrarau region. It was told that the signature campaign will also be conducted in other villages and towns in the coming days, so that the voice of the people can be strongly conveyed to the government and administration. On this occasion, Sunil Yadav, Inderpal Yadav, Santosh Chauhan, Biresh Sisodia, Dinesh Sisodia, Chetar Yadav, Sher Singh Sisodia, Sanjay Sharma, Tej Singh Kushwaha, Dalveer Yadav, Shami Akhtar Qureshi, Rinku Yadav, Veerpal Yadav and others were present.
