Meteorologist Divya E. Surendran said, “If we talk about the coldest areas of Madhya Pradesh, the lowest temperature of 4.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Shajapur and Kalyanpur of Shahdol on Wednesday. Whereas the highest temperature of 30 degree Celsius was in Khandwa. The maximum temperature in Seoni was 28 degrees Celsius. He said, a system may become active in North India from January 19, which may impact Madhya Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in about 15 districts has been below 10 degrees. Whereas at many places the temperature was recorded below 5 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, cold weather will continue in Madhya Pradesh for a few days.

Private hospital operator Rishi Bund said, complaints of cold, cough and viral infections may increase due to changing temperatures. In such a situation, people should be careful in the morning and evening and wear clothes according to the weather.
