Finance Minister Chaudhary discussed the budget preparations of Minister Kedar Kashyap’s departments.

Raipur : Chhattisgarh Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary today held a meeting with departmental officials regarding the preparations for the budget of their departments in the presence of Forest and Climate Change, Transport, Cooperation and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kedar Kashyap at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan.

Major schemes related to Forest and Cooperation Department were discussed in the meeting. These include Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana, Lemru Elephant Reserve Project and Charan Paduka Yojana. Along with this, the issue of increasing revenue by forest management committees and producing various products from forest produce was also discussed in detail.

The minister duo also discussed the expansion of facilities in paddy procurement centres. Also, meaningful suggestions were given on measures to increase livelihood and employment opportunities in forest areas. Issues like making financial provisions for better arrangement of micro ATMs at the Panchayat level were also discussed in the meeting.
