Government asked for detailed report from all departments by January 15
Bhopal. Preparations for Budget 2026-27 have been intensified in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has called for detailed reports from all departments by January 15. In this, it has been asked to give complete details of the expenditure incurred on various schemes in the last one year, the results related to them and how many people got employment. The government wants to clearly present the progress and impact of the schemes in the budget speech through these figures.
The government has also sought detailed information on the progress made in the slum-free city campaign, environmental protection and energy sector. Along with this, proposals for new schemes and account of achievements of old schemes will also be part of the budget document. All departments have been instructed to provide factual and updated data of the work done in their respective areas. As part of the preparation of the budget, data related to government appointments, employment generation and labor welfare will also have to be provided compulsorily. Apart from this, the government has also sought a detailed report of the action taken in cases of encroachment on cattle-grazing land and government land, so that the situation of land management and conservation can be clear.
Feedback sought on goals of 2047
The government has also invited feedback from all departments keeping in mind the goals of Developed India 2047. Based on this feedback, long-term development strategy will be included in the budget. Departmental meetings on budget proposals will now be held between January 19 and 29, in which the reports and suggestions received will be discussed in detail.
