जयपुर।पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने बांग्लादेश में हिंदू अल्पसंख्यकों पर हो रही कथित बर्बरता की घटनाओं को लेकर केंद्र सरकार पर तीखा हमला बोला है। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से इस मामले में तत्काल और प्रभावी हस्तक्षेप की मांग करते हुए इसे भारत सरकार की कूटनीतिक विफलता करार दिया है।पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने बांग्लादेश में हिंदू अल्पसंख्यकों पर हो रही कथित बर्बरता की घटनाओं को लेकर केंद्र सरकार पर तीखा हमला बोला है। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से इस मामले में तत्काल और प्रभावी हस्तक्षेप की मांग करते हुए इसे भारत सरकार की कूटनीतिक विफलता करार दिया है। गहलोत ने कहा कि महज औपचारिक चिंता जताने से काम नहीं चलेगा, बल्कि पड़ोसी देश में अल्पसंख्यकों की सुरक्षा के लिए ठोस कदम उठाने होंगे।पूर्व सीएम गहलोत ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म ‘एक्स’ पर सिलसिलेवार पोस्ट करते हुए लिखा कि बांग्लादेश से आ रही खबरें अत्यंत विचलित करने वाली हैं। उन्होंने दावा किया कि बीते 19 दिनों में पांच हिंदुओं की हत्या की गई है और महिलाओं के साथ अत्याचार की घटनाएं सामने आ रही हैं, जो मानवता पर कलंक हैं। गहलोत ने कहा कि भारत, एक जिम्मेदार लोकतांत्रिक देश होने के नाते, पड़ोसी देशों में अल्पसंख्यकों के जीवन और सम्मान की रक्षा को लेकर नैतिक और कूटनीतिक जिम्मेदारी से पीछे नहीं हट सकता।

Referring to the historical events of 1971, Gehlot praised the diplomatic tenacity of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He wrote that that period is still fresh in the memories, when under the leadership of Indira Gandhi, India not only showed diplomatic strength but also changed both history and geography with its willpower. According to Gehlot, at that time India had protected its interests and human values regardless of a superpower like America, while America had sent its seventh fleet against India.

Giving another strong statement regarding Bangladesh, the former Chief Minister wrote that it is very worrying that the country which was built with the cooperation and sacrifice of India, is seen standing against India today. He called it a failure of the foreign policy and diplomacy of the central government. Gehlot said that the Indian government should go beyond mere formal statements and take concrete diplomatic pressure and effective initiatives at international forums.
The state government was also targeted
Along with the issue of foreign policy, Gehlot also took on the BJP government of Rajasthan. He made serious allegations against the government regarding the recent programs and events organized in the state. Gehlot wrote that there is an atmosphere of administrative and government anarchy in Rajasthan, where there is no one to say and no one to see. He alleged that public money was being wasted on a scale never seen before.
,Question on ‘Rising Rajasthan’ and ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Day’
The former CM termed events like ‘Rising Rajasthan’ and ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas’ as “drama” and said that these programs have completely failed. According to Gehlot, neither investors were seen in these events nor any concrete results were seen. He claimed that despite big claims, the people of the state did not achieve anything at the ground level.
Taunt on Khelo India and Digifest
Referring to events like ‘Khelo India Games’ and ‘Digifest’, Gehlot said that chaos prevailed in these events. He alleged that the players faced plight in Khelo India, neither enough participants nor spectators came. Similarly, chaos and mismanagement was also seen in the DigiFest Summit.
“There is no accountability in BJP government”
Finally, Gehlot accused the BJP government of spending crores of rupees on advertisements only for publicity and self-praise. He raised the question that what did the public get after spending so much? Gehlot said that accountability has completely ended in the state and the public is asking how long will their money continue to be squandered like this and when will responsibility be fixed.
