Bhopal group was the winner of Madhya Pradesh Master Athletic Championship

Bhopal. The 48th Men and Women Master Athletic Championship was held on 4 January 2026 at BHEL Sports Club Ground, Bhopal. In this, Bhopal Group stood first by winning 46 gold medals, 28 silver medals and 25 bronze medals and received the winning trophy. Jhabua district stood second, which won 30 gold medals, 20 silver medals and 35 bronze medals and got the title of runner-up. About 400 players from different districts participated in the above competitions and performed excellently. The winning players in this competition will participate in the 46th National Masters Athletic Competition to be held in Trivandrum, Kerala from 28 January 2026 to 1 February 2026. All the players who won National and Asian medals in this competition will participate in the World Masters Athletic Competition which is being organized in South Korea. Madhya Pradesh Masters Athletics Association State President Mumtaz Khan, General Secretary Captain Sunita P Samuel and President Akhileshwar Singh Thakur along with all the officials of the organization extended hearty greetings to all the players and expressed hope that the players will perform better in the future.
